AC Milan captain Massimo Ambrosini has called for his team-mates to stand up and be counted as they look to kickstart their faltering season with a morale-boosting win over Roma tomorrow.Milan have endured a dispiriting start to the season, collecting just nine points from their first seven Serie A outings – a return that left them seven points off the pace heading into this weekend’s domestic programme.Leonardo’s start to life as coach has also included a shock 1-0 reverse against FC Zurich in the Champions League and there has already been plenty of speculation over the his future at the San Siro. But with vice-president Adriano Galliani giving the Brazilian his public backing once again this week, Ambrosini has tried to refocus attention back to the on-field action.Roma have not had a flawless start to the campaign either, but go into the match two points better off than their hosts and Ambrosini is desperate for a win.”We are going through a difficult time but we must react,” said 32-year-old Ambrosini.
